Chrome with distorted reflections

Hey guys.....can someone tell me how to get a chrome/stainless steel material which has distorted reflections, like we see in shopping malls, escalator ceilings etc, where the reflections are sharp like mirrors but distorted...I am using Zulibans wonderful chrome material but that gives me very clear reflections like a mirror....any ideas on how to get this??...thx in advance

you could use glossy on the mat and a little bump to give you the distortion..

theres also the anistropy settings. Look under BRDF rollout.

thx Natty, percy....great help mates....I put a Waves material in the Bump slot and now it looks amazing....sorry, but I don't know where to put it up for your comments....but, I am happy now....thx agn
