  • maps gets blurry when viewed at a distance

Hi all, hopefully this is a minor prob with a simple solution
The wood map gets too blurry when I move the camera out and the AA looks bad, I upped the Adaptive Subs in image sampler to 1, 2 and didnt seem to do a lot. I have just begun to texture this building and am under abit of pressure.

    thanks for help

thanks Natty, am using 0.4 for crl threshhold, big improvement with your suggestions. Map is a wood texture that ships with max (ArchMap) have changes it to another one and looks Better,

      Cheers,

Try turning down blurring for bitmap in the bitmap part of your diffuse slot, just below your tiling options. Put it at its lowest of 0.01
