depends on what you were running previously either R or an earlier beta, you may or may not need to make alot of changes.
If you open an old 1.09.03R scene in the new beta and render it your render times will most likely be 2-4 times longer!
Then you need to dive in and lower the render and QMC settings drastically.
Best just to start new scenes from scratch. There is a great thread by flipside with lots great info
