  • IES+GI with Photons?

does the photon mapping in the 1.09 release work with ies, or what am i doing wrong??
if i use direct computation for the second bounce tne GI works ok....however if i use photon mapping and the only light sources are photometric free points with ies i get no propper GI...
    what to do??[/img]

Ies does work with photon's but you have to have a very high multiplyer for it to work ...this subject has been covered but i cant remember the post ....

          hum....yes i got it....
but it looks somehow weard ...
how come u have to use this kind of multipliers...

is this issue solved with the lightmaps in the new versions?

I have tested IES fith LightMAP on 1.45.70

IT DOES WORK OK !... compared to Direct as a secondary bounce
it is one and the SAME.... so not gonna have the problem as with
            the PHOTONS...
