  • Vray and SP2

Hey there... sorry did not know if I should post this here or on the Take 5. I seem to remember that there might have been some question or issue with the new Vray license when upgrading to WinXP SP2. What was the verdict on that? Thinking of doing it myself but have a fear factor. Have you gusy run into any other issues?

Also, while we are on the subject, if I do upgrade, how do I disable all the firewall crap. I like to stick to my hardware firewall on my linksys router.

Running XP SP2 here with no problems, and the firewall crap is actually pretty good now too I run it alongside my HW firewall. It creates no problems for VRay or Max.

I am still using max 5.1, And all maxscripts stopped working with SP2, at first I tought it was my max install that had been corrupted..so naturally I reinstalled max only to see the same problem with a fresh install...

After uninstalling SP2, everything worked as normal.
