blur shadow

Hello,

how can i make the shadow blur from inside to outside, the image attached below show that the shadow is too clear, i just want to make it blur but not opacity.

Are you using GI, and an area shadow? Try those see how they work.

yes, i'm using it both.

Here my setting.

u have to increase its size...above the subdivisions u have to increase those values to tune the shadow s edge...the play with the subdivs

area shadows are units dependant, so either look at the scale of your scene (make it smaller) or raise the U,V,W size of your arealight.
