  • Need help to optimize refraction in a big scene

    Hello everybody,

I have a big scene with "very very much"(sorry I'm french ) glass objets in my scene, this is for an animation and I use eggz it run perfect but...
    Render is very very long!
How can I reduce time, I think it's in the max deph of refraction reflection but what kind of number does I put in, and is there others ways to optimise refraction in a normal vray material?

    Thx[/quote]

      Thx for your reply
MY RESOLUTION IS 800*363 and my scene is not set up.
I'm working to build it, but I prefer anticipate this thing.
I don't know how to put in line a picture because I have a picture which discribe the dificulty.
      I can email you.

                Hey Mate,

Well with that much glass (if i understand the picture correctly) you gonna have some long render times. But as long as there are no moviing objects...besides the camera...you might be able to do it in 4mins/frame.

Here is the pic he sent me Natty, and others

If the scene isnt too big send that too me and i will host it for you as well
