Looking for 'Affect Shadows'

Hey Guys,

I am making a factory building where I have to show the roof as transparent so that the client can see the different pipes/a.c layout in the building....when I make the roof transparent....it gets real dark inside....I read somewhere on this forum that after checking 'Affect Shadows', I can get rid of this issue....Can somebody please tell me where can I find this option??....Do I need to put a direct light in the scene to get rid of this??.....Any tips & tricks are welcome....thx in advance

Go to the VRayMtl and under refraction you see "fog color" and "affect shadows". Put checkmark there.
