    Hi all, I'm trying to render a ship on reflective water also using GI.
    I'm using version 1.09
    The problem I'm having is that I'm using a mapped dome for the sky. I need this to be reflected in the water (which it is) but I want to stop it being considerred when calculating GI. I want to use the environment override so I have lots of control over the GI. But even if I turn off all the GI options in the Vray properties of the object, it still seems to be blockng the environment overide. ANyone help me with this?

    OK, I found how to stop it. By turning off the visible to reflection/refraction in the normal object properties... How whacky and weird IS THAT!? TO have to turn off visible in reflections to stop it being considerred in the GI calc at all. Hmmmm.
