I know this is kinda newbie question, but ....anyway

I'm trying to achieve some specular reflects like these (render by Jonathan Catalan using Maxwell Renderer):

Would any of you be so kind to help me with the settings?.....how do I create the specular bitmap in Photoshop?.......and in vraymat...amount of reflect, glossy, bump (even vraydisplacement), or whatsoever......

Thanks all in advance and sorry for my English

All you need to do, is desaturate your image, create a copy layer. use levels to adjust the new layer is so that your grout is black. and the inside is all white. I used linear burn for the new layer mix type.

using a vray material, use that new image as the reflection, and bump
Use a .7 reflection, and you got it, pretty simple.

      here is simple test

      here is the ref. map
