why is a big time diference betwen vray 1.09 and the news vray´s (1.46.0
i said that a seample scene a box and a teapot, at 640 x 480, takes almost 10 second in render, i know that the qcm had been updated, but what options y must change for vray be faster, i preffer vray 1.09, the best rendering system

did you use the same scene from 1.09, or did you remake the scene with 1.46 defualts?

Almost all subdivs can be lowered. Materials in 1.09 are 50SD default, 1.46 8SD default. I dont know what the changes in the QMC sampler are specifically.

Yeah I also think that vray 1.46 is much more slower than 1.09.

So what really are the changes in QMC engine? And what we should change from the default set-up in version 1.46 to achieve the same time in 1.09.

Yeah of course lower the following
a) mat subd from default 50
b) QMC subd and samples

What else?
