  • v1.46.10 not rendering. Chaos group please help!

I was just about finished with a huge animation project(all done with v1.46.0 and I had done some test renders all the way up to last thursday. The scene uses mostly VRMeshes and a fair amount of rpc's. It's about 3.5 to 4 million polygons but like I said mostly VRMeshes. Everything seems fine but I can't render anything. I get this error:

"The exception unknown software exception (0xe06d7363) occured in the application at location (0x7c59bbf3)"

Vlado, is there anyway I can get a 2005 working copy of v1.46.08?

Well it looks like it's a memory issue. I got parts of the scene rendering ok in 1.46.10 but I had to turn off quite a few layers. Vlado, would you mind if I sent you my file to take a look at just to make sure that this is my problem. If it is what options do I have? Will more memory do the trick? I'll send you an IM.

I also have a scene that crashes whenever I try to switch the view to the top or if i change a couple of things it randomly crashes. viz2005 bug reporter is unable to send the problem (i think it is a viz problem)

It is an old project which i am making some materials on for 'training' .if anyone wants a bathroom scene to play around with, please feel free to try.

        Hello
I have the same troubles with a scene on viz4 using v46.10
It crashes when I switch views with "The exception unknown software exception" message or just shut down viz, Vray windows announce error "broadcasting notify-pre-render last marker is at, line 0" but render is ok, and all of this for the first time and in a very randomly way.....
