Oh no, i feel this is another stupid repeated question.

I went to vray info and read the opacity information but i cant get it to work.
    This is whats stated...

Where do I adjust the transparency in the VRay material?
    Follow-ups
A: Transparency is controlled by the refraction color.
For simple transparency without refraction distorion (distortion of the background seen through the object) use refraction with a material IOR of 1.0

I tried this but its not see thru.

It's a little more controllable than that now. There are two ways of achieving transparency now. There is the physical method of using refraction which should work fine as suggested on vray.info, with some basic understanding of raytracing. If you're having problems it would help to see your setting if you can locate somewhere to host images for you. The other method available in the 1.4x beta builds is through the Opacity map channel which is controlled in the same way as a Standard material.

It's a good idea to always post the VRay version you're using

      Thanks Trap.

Im using 109.03r. Ive downloaded the beta but waiting for an authorization code. How long does it usually take?

I got the opacity to work, somewhat. Im glad they are doing one the standard way for the future builds.
