  • In light of the resumable rendering: Does Progressive DR drop-in/drop-out work now?

    Hi,
I got no time to test ist at the moment - does this work? It used to be like if you drop out a node while DR rendering in progressive mode the image stopped rendering since there was no backup data for the "lost" node.
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

You can only add more nodes to a progressive DR render at the moment. Removing nodes while doing a progressive render is still not supported (but it works with buckets).

Is there any ETA on removing nodes to progressive DR on the fly?

It's on the "to do" list, but I'm not sure when it will get into the builds.

        Best regards,
