    Thank u Vlado. What is a range of realistic values? Cause this is a color picked specifically from a real color palette. How shall i treat saturated colors?

      I the white value for the scene as a guide. So if I'm doing an interior with white walls with a diffuse colour is R180 G180 B180 then I clip all colour to below 180.

        Ye all my whites are always 180 but when i have specific colors from a palette i cant clamp it thats why im asking. cheers

          You can always reduce the "value" of the color so that the largest component is below 180.
