  • 3d Studio Max (Blend) material

So I am trying to create an vintage mirror material, and I found one at this site http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php?mat=961
it is created using a 3d studio Blend material, the material looks pretty close to what I am trying to achieve but I keep getting an error message that is not compatible with vray. but it renders fine
here is a breakdown of it
also, if its not compatible how can I convert to one that is compatible or re-create one
the 1st attachment is kind of what the finished material should look like
    thank you in advance

It's a warning, not an error message, so it will render, but usually it will be slower than a VRayBlendMtl material. The V-Ray scene converter script should be able to convert it to a VRayBlendMtl material, I think.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Blend can also cause some artefacts around mask selection, an error which VrayBlend will not produce.
