  • Render Elements Opacity option

Hi, i need to create some render elements like the attached file. I do not know how to change the opacity of the render elements to do a thing like this.
I was hoping it could be done in photoshop, but they toldme that is not the same thing.

    Thanks.

What element is that specifically? usually with most Ive dealt with I just set them to Linear Dodge (add) and adjust the opacity from there in PS or AE or with some of the render elements you can also render the Chanel Filter and use that as a alpha mask and then you can again use the opacity of the layer to edit the strength of the element in the composition. This is my best guess with the information you provided, unless you can describe in more detail what you are trying to achieve.

I, This is a reflection pass.
I work just like you. Is a strange request for me too. Probably i will explain to the client how to mix the elements in PS.
Sry for the poor information but i've got only this.

          Thanks for your help.

No need to apologies The only thing I can think of is your client doesn't know how to blend the channels together or they are looking for something like the Chanel Filters (Alpha mask) as I mentioned above. Also I may be completely wrong here but it almost looks like the reflection pass you posted above has been inverted as well.
            Cheers,
