  • How to Completely Uninstall V-ray 3.5 with its license server ?

    Hello all, any idea on how to uninstall V-ray Completely with all the residue files?

    i'm trying to render on another workstation and here what i'm getting, i tried a lot of things with no success, uninstalled and reinstalled..etc

    You can uninstall V-Ray from the Control Panel. However you can take a look at the V-Ray log file on the render server to see what's going on - maybe it will help.

      Make sure that after uninstall V-Ray you delete any remaining V-Ray related files from here:
      C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20xx
      C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20xx\plugins and C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\3dsmax 20xx

      Also, do you have installed same V-Ray version on all machines? Is V-Ray DR spawner started manually on the render node machine or running as a service?

        this is what i am getting! i cannot render on other rendernodes!

            This happened to me before when I changed my router. I had to mess with my ip address on my network, disable windows 7 firewall again, and reset the local license server thing...check ip's and such...hopefully you will stumble upon a fix like I did.
