  • 1 x GTX 1080 Ti vs 2 x GTX 1070

Hey guys, just checking out the vray benchmarks page and am noticing that 2 x gtx 1070's seem to render considerably faster (approx. 43mins) than 1 gtx 1080 Ti (approx 68mins).

I thought they would be roughly equal but seems I was wrong. In Australia 2 x 1070's pretty much cost exactly the same as 1 x 1080ti so it would seem to be a no brainer.... (besides the extra memory of the 1080ti).

    Any thoughts??

Both setups should work fine. If the extra 3GB are not important for you, you can go with the two 1070. Keep in mind, that if they are stacked close to each other in the case, it is better to you reference/blower-type coolers.
Getting 1080ti though gives you the option to buy another one in the future .
