  • lightcache "use camera path" greyed out on rt gpu

    as subject. i was hoping to enable it for my animation as i have some flickering in my result..

    from memory there is no difference between GPU and CPU light caches and it used to use the CPU to do that part... so you could probably just do the LC in vray advanced and save it and use it later... but i might be wrong :P

      unfortunately its an animation with moving geometry, so i need a new LC per frame.

        ok the "use camera path" option would be very useful on my current anim. small fiddly moving objects and the rest of the scene static. im getting shimmers on the static bits, so that feature would be perfect. why on earth is it greyed out? the lightcache is still calculated on the cpu so it should be no different?

          It would be helpful to show what kind of issues you have. I'm not sure the camera-related options would help.
