  • Batch render with VFB output?

Hi, quick question. Does anyone know what would be the best way to batch render a bunch of camera angles in my scene, while still using the v-ray frame buffer to create all outputs? I haven't figured out how unless I use the standard 3dsmax file output. I would like to send everything to backburner as well without having to send the same file over and over again, and changing the output file name manually each time. Is it better to just let max handle the file outputs and render elements?

There is no out of the solution about that, Batch render doesn't support V-Ray Output.
There is a way to set it up however using Scene States or Preset:
Click image for larger version Name:	3dsmax_2017-07-05_17-10-45.jpg Views:	1 Size:	21.4 KB ID:	959095
With Preset or Scene State you can set a separate V-Ray Output for each Batch render, its not very convenient but it is a way to do it.

You could use psd-manager to render multi-layer PSD/PSBs. It takes the image data from the V-ray Framebuffer (Denosier Lens Effects, Color corrections) and otherwise will behave like the 3ds max output. So things like Batch Render will just work as expected.
