  • Triplanar projection doesnt follow skin modifier

    Hi, is there an issue with triplanar? Seems like in deformable objects that is not following the object and looks like projected.
    Is there an option to fix this?

    Unfortunately that's how the triplanar mapping is supposed to work. You have to properly unwrap your model and bake the triplanar map down to a regularly UV-mapped texture to make it work with deforming objects.

        You can try built-in BBM in 3dsMax. It has lock feature so you can deform meshes while keeping projection.

          ah ok i ll keep that in mind thanks. For the moment i gave model back for proper unwrap
