  • Is there a way to fake thickness of geometry just using a shader?

    I cannot shell a vraymetaball object so I need to fake the thickness of the geometry using a shader.

    Like fake SSS? U can bake a thickness map from max or from substance painter and other similar software. I think its called render surface map, in 3ds max.

      Not exactly. It's more like the thickness of a bubble under the water.
