Does anyone use it? I have tried six times, but each time failed. This last fail was some license error. Google did reverse the charges, so at least I am not out money.

Great to see that they've added 3DS Max and V-Ray as well - will try this out as it could be a great alternative to Rebusfarm. Can it handle all our plugins (FPP, RC, etc etc) ?

I do not wish to hijack this thread, but is there a tutorial on how to use 3DS max/VRay and Zync? An official one would be great.
Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

There doesn't seem to support for any 3rd party 3ds max plugins besides V-ray itself. Atleast from what I could see in the little documentation they provide.

Yes, I am finding the same thing. Multitexture and Bercon maps are not supported. Nor is Forest Pro or Railclone. Basically, like you said, it is just 3DS MAX and V-Ray.

It should be past the figuring out stage. I remember being part of their beta program 4-5 years ago. They need to have the most basic plugins being used, I would think.

I know but when Zync first came on my radar (I think 2 years go) - they were only supporting Maya......

Well I think we all know from experience how much of a PITA 3dsmax can be lol, esp for network rendering and thats without any plugins

I just heard back from their support and apparently Zync does not currently handle spaces in the output name. It wouldn't have worked for me anyway, here is a list of plugins I use and they don't have installed.
