  • probably something simple i missed.. log window is too short..

trying to bring a scene over to RT.. theres an error.. i can see it there, in red, whizzing by at a thousand mph.. by the time ive got my frantic mouse hand under control to stop the render, its already about 5 million lines above the top of the log window, and i cant scroll up to see what it is..

vray helpfully tells me at the end of the log .. that there was an error. yeah thanks, but i cant see what it was.

i assume it all gets written to a file? i also assume i can change the length of the text stored in the log window?

    Hello,

Yes the log is stored in a file - by default it is in your temp folder (type %temp% in windows explorer) and should be named VRayLog.txt.

hmph, i assumed that was the case, but when i searched for the file, i found three, all 1kb in length.

however had i actually bothered to let the search finish, it would have found the 4th, which is the right one.
