Issues with 1.09r Afterburn 3.1/Dreamscape 2.1 & 3ds 7

Has anybody been using the combination of Dreamscape, Afterburn and 3dsmax 7 - and if so have they found any conflicts crashes and or bugs. I am going into a fire/smoke effects heavy project and had some odd crashes last night. I was wondering before I get too deep whether I should switch to 3ds 6 ?
