If just for remote access, i use Google remote desktop.
easy, and nothing special to configure

          Anydesk is my choice.

IOS/Android app is well thought out as well.

If you are used to teamviewer like I am... I had to switch to Chrome Remote Desktop for a bit and it is terrible in comparison. Good if you just want to use it for monitoring but anything else it's too basic

Going to see what Anydesk is like, thanks for the recommendation!

LogMeIn wanted me to pay $1200 and I canceled my subscription (up from $600 the year before, and up from $240 when I first signed up). It was totally sneaky too, I just got an email that basically said, if you do nothing, we will charge your card with $1200 for your subscription plan. If I had not seen that email accidentally, they would have just taken the money... Anyways, I use Chrome Remote Desktop and VPN+Remote Desktop now. I will check out Anydesk though.

              Best regards,
              Vlado

ShareConnect by Citrix is a very good (paid though) remote desktop. Faster than Teamviewer, lag is so small that i can use very heavy software like Revit with it. Oh, and has great dual monitor support.

Anydesk here. I have tried them all and Anydesk seems to work the best. Other than that, Google's Remote Desktop.

I have used Teamviewer, Anydesk, Chrome remote desktop, and Logmein (a while back). Overall, I like the Teamviewer the best, feature wise. The downside is that that the connection will randomly drop, not frequent enough to throw me off. Plus I can copy paste files across the two computers which is pretty handy sometimes. Chrome Remote Desktop is very solid too.
                      always curious...

Switching between monitors remotely has been fine.

Just trying out AnyDesk, as my Logmein is up for renewal this month, at a crazy amount. Its working fine on the iphone to workstation app, but how well does it work with two monitors from a home setup with two monitors, can you have each monitor showing correctly?
