  • Compositing with Light Select in Full Mode

    Hello -

I'm compositing an interior image and decided to try out Full Mode with the Light Select Elements.

My usual set of nodes is: GI + [LS1,LS2....] + REFL +SI +SSS2
(refraction is set to All Channels in materials)

Now, using Full Mode in the LS Elements, I simply removed GI, REFL, SSS2, and the result is exactly the same (as expected) except for the GI contribution of Vray Light Materials. Any suggestions on how to get that info back?

    Thanks,

    Caleb

If my memory is correct, if vray material is not set for direct lighting, u cant get gi info and u only see it in SI element.

Btw, keep in mind if sunlight, u dont get the sky contribution in vray light select, unless u use a dome light instead for GI. Vlado said he ll add that in future versions.
