  • Scale a scene

I screwed up and scaled my building enormous to fit in a scene and now everything is wonky. Proportionality it looks good, but I need to scale everything down a lot. I have displacement and Forest Pack Pro elements. What are my options?

I used Xref scenes for this purpose. You can link them to a helper and scale the helper down. But that might screw things up.
At least you're not destroying your scene with this and its quick. so I'd try that first.
German guy, sorry for my English.

I selected everything and scaled, which kind of worked. I had to scale the Forest Pro stuff back up. A Forest Pro lister would be great! If not, I'll try your suggestions.

What do you mean a Forest Pro Lister would be great? It's been part of FP for a good year already afaik.

It's at the bottom of the "General" rollout of the Forest object... "Forest Lister" button.

Why would you need a forest lister if you have all your forests on a forest layer?

I don't put all my forest objects in one layer. I have a gravel layer, a grass layer, a tree layer...

Well, not if you use PSDManager to output 3dsmax scene layers as PSD layers !

Why not? Nested layers are supported - you would still be able to output them.
