Hey,
So I'm using Pheonix to create some fire/smoke, basically using the explosion preset on some geo. All I'm doing differently is outputting VDB caches and adding in the velocity to the output.
When importing this cache into the volumegrid it comes in fine and looks correct in the viewport, as in, I can see variation from the hotspots of the explosion through to the dark smoke, but when rendering the volume is solid and I cant seem to get this to ramp correctly.
I previously used the volumegrid with FumeFX VDB cache and apon loading it added a FumeFX preset, maybe that was doing something I dont know about?
Also I'm actually using Maya but I guess this will apply to both packages the same?
Thanks for any help,
Dan
