Xref Scenes and vray clipper tool

Hi all,
I am trying to render a cross section in 3ds max with vray clipper , I have some files coming from an xref file but vray doesn't cut the xref file. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to merge the files? I would rather work with the xrefs.

Do you have an include/exclude list in the clipper ?

I had the same recently, as soon as I merged the Xref scene, it worked correctly. Nothing in the include list

No I don't have anything on the include exclude list it is a new default clipping plane. Ok the weird thing is that in another file with the same Xref the clipping tool works properly ! i have max 2018 latest SP and all..I don't have much time for tests at the moment and merging the xrefs is an option that will add days of work.

I?m gonna do some sneaky advertisement...I was on beta for the plugin SmartRefs and I wouldn?t wanna live without it anymore...you should give it a try if you are dealing with lots of Xref scenes, Vrayclipper or not...

i don't seem to have an issues with clipper clipping xrefs

I am terribly sorry, i started working on the file again and i realised that i had a some clipper planes off ... Human error as usual.
