Hi,

this map is nice, but I miss some features to make it even nicer. Its not working with Bercon Maps, will you add this support? And second thing, what about randomize lightness, saturation, gamma, hue and so on?

We do plan to add some randomization options. About the Bercon Maps what do you mean? Can you post an example?

I mean randomize textures from multisubtex on BerconTiles. Maybe I do something wrong, but I tried every mode multisubtex offer and nothing works.

Bercon Tile is working just fine with MultiTexture Map from CG-source to produce random tiles. that setup could probably be put into VRayMultiSubTex if needed.

Yes, but I would like to use vray map instead of Multitexture. Blago said this map causing lot of crashes. And I dont like multitexture list of textures. Or better, Its nice, but when you want jast remove one map and replace it with another in node editor, copy whole tree with multitexture and so on, it could lead to crash. Vray map with all this features will be much better. But MultiTexture is great for what it can produce, so it would be nice to have it right in Vray.

As far as I have tested you can render the Bercon Maps with VRayMultiSubTex but it detects the VRayMultiSubTex as one whole and therefore you cannot use any randomization.

Otherwise the VRayMultiSubTex already has the ability to randomize Hue, Gamma and Saturation.



Also if you add UVWRandomizer you can rotate the uv's using the settings provided by the UVWRandomizer and basically you have all the functionality you need for randomizing.

what a mess. MultiSubTex used to not work in Fog slot since forever. yet seems to be fine on GPU now. and the workaround for random Fog (TexMulti) that I was using (a year ago maybe?) is now not working on GPU (CPU is ok)...
