alternative to 3 GB switch

I made 3GB switch on my 3 computers and it worked fine until few days ago.
On two computers I get blue screen when I turn them on. I didnt instaled any new programs or hardware. I dont know what happend. I need 3gb switch becouse all my projects have lots of glossy reflections and displacements and I am tired of vray exceptions messages all the time.
Is there something else except 3 GB switch to make windows see more RAM becouse I cant allways install new windows when this happens.

Start taking out some RAM one by one, see if it boots up, and do a memtest. Also, make sure your MB supports 3 gigs or over.

Obviously it supports 3gb becouse it worked fine for 3 months.
By the way how do I do mem test.

You have to put it on floppy or CD-ROM and reboot to it. It'll take about an hour - perhaps less or more.
