I'm looking to replicate something similar to this in a scene I'm working on, and the client is after a fairly accurate representation.

So the question is, how do I go about replicating such lighting? I've looked into IES lighting, but the client hasn't provided the manufacturer of the bulb and isn't contactable for a few weeks.

IES seems the way to go, but I'm struggling to find a manufacturer that provides photographic examples along with .ies files associated with the various products.

Can anyone shed some light on the best way foward?

To me it looks simple enough to do it with a SpotLight.

As for IES, first, download this IES Viewer: http://www.photometricviewer.com/?i=1
    Then, download this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1R9...Gc6dl4dOMQ5QcG

Then have fun with it. Don't get all hung up on manufacturers. Pick something that looks nice.
    Software:

    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

      Thanks

I guess what I'm aiming to achieve is light emitted realistically, with correct camera exposures etc
