  • Crash when stopping distribuited rendering

    Hi everybody,
we use Vray NEXT on Max 2019.1 we have four pc, 2 workstations and 2 render nodes. Every pc has Win10 updated.
When I launch a distribuited render, if one of the node is not active and I stop render, or it completes the image, max crashes without any warning.
I have to remove manually the inactive server from the list or it crashes anytime and on any workstation.

    Any advice?

    Thanks,

    Martina

Same here. But i have disabled history and that's fixed this problem. A temporary fix i think
    Archviz Designer. 2x 2990wx + 4x 1950x + 3x 1800x / Nvidia RTX GPU.

That doesn't really sound like a licensing problem and I'm not entirely sure if it has anything to do with the history. But in any case, I'll check in with the v-ray for max team to see if this has already been reported and/or fixed. I would also suggest posting in the V-Ray for 3ds Max forums, as this sounds like a problem with V-Ray for Max, not with the license or license server.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Same here too. I'll check with the nightlies as Peter said in the linked thread.
