  • Recalculating Denoiser repeatedly when render should have stopped a long time ago.

This is something I've been living with for some time (pretty much ever since the Denoiser was introduced) as I haven't questioned the software and thought it was doing something, but now I have an animation to do, render times are crucial for me, so to use the Denoiser and see it constantly "Recalculating denoiser" when the image looks good, and looks finished is going to double my render times.

I've set my Noise Threshold to 0.03, I've added a Denoiser RE and set that to default settings.

Yet my V-Ray Messages look like the this (my render times are something like 2.5 mins) when the Final Noise Threshold is reported as having been reached at 0.03, yet it goes on 'recalculating denoiser'
