VRay Light select + fog

Hi,

I have a scene and want to use light select and fog. The problem is lightselect render element doesnt contain environmentfog. And atmosphere render element contain fog for all lights, so I cant composite it in post. Is there some workaround please?

Have you set the light select to full mode ? It should be working this way

Hmm, thats weird. I set them to full mode for whole time but fog is not there. Fog is visible only on atmosphere render element. I am still on VRay 3.6, should it work there too or only in Next?

Maybe it's something specific for this setup, what do you have between the light and interior space ? In 3.6 my test scene was rendered in the same way.

I think only glass in windows. But I have more lights in the room and none of them produced fog in light select element

So, I got it, thank you for help. I didnt add light from windows affecting fog to light select element. And lights in interior was too weak to affect fog. I dont know why, have this problem very often. Light influence the scene very well but have to clone the light with much stronger intensity (10x - 100x affecting only the fog) to affect the fog as I would expect. Not sure why this is happening.
