  • How to convert VMPP complexfresnel to be compatible with Vray Next?

    Hello, I got a scene that used complexfresnel, so I download the compatible shader plugin from Sigger, apparently this type of shader is mainly used by their shader library.
    But such complexfresnel shader give an error message with Vraynext, so I'm wondering how to convert it to metalness value and get ride of this problematic shader.
    If metalness is not the good way to go thanks to let me know what whould be used instead to replace complexfresnel.

    One option is to use our own implementation through a VRayOSLTex (the Siger ComplexFresnel is based on it).

    I should mention, that the Siger map works OK with V-Ray Next on my end? Are you getting any kind of error or warning?
