I ran into a problem with the Flakes Material and the Raw Reflection pass. When using the Flakes Material the Flakes become much larger in the RawReflection than they should be btw. they are fine in the Reflection Pass. With the carpaint material it renders fine. I compared both Carpaint and FlakesMaterial side by side with exactly the same flakes setup rendered on the same object.
Carpaint Material: Base Color Black, Coat Color Black
Flakes Material: Vray Blend Material. Black Vray Material as Base, Flakes Material as Coating with full white Blending Mode.
Both use Triplanar as Mapping type.
