  • Any explanation for this odd circle cutout in my render?

So I just loaded up my project and for some reason today I have this huge cut-out that is being rendered in the image.

That circle cutout most visible in the VRayFog/Sky should not be there. It also affects the geometry with that beige area with the black outline that also should not be there.

I loaded an old scene and it renders in that too

Rolled back GPU driver, no change.
Hide all objects and that cutout circle is still there.
If I look at the Alpha channel that circle is solid black.
Looked at old renders done a few days ago and that circle is not there.
The circle seems to be in 3D space, If I pan down the image then it moves up off screen.

It is probably something daft but it eludes me.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Looks like some sort of distance cut off - try another camera with default settings?

That was Perspective on the first shot and Camera in the second

Solved it. There was a VrayLight (Sphere) that I used for an internal shot that causes this oddity. If I delete that light then the problem goes away on the exterior rendering. So looks more like a bug as I should not get artifacts like that.

I had lights hidden in display settings so missed this being the obvious cause.
