Shadow rendered in blocks

Hi there,

I was rendering a preview from my interior scene and got some strange blocked pattern on the back wall, only slightly visible.
How to I get rid of this?
I'm rendering a scene with an hdri setup combined with vray sun & AE.
Hdr setup is done with SINI hdr Illumi.

We've been getting a similar isssue for a long time - does it go away if you switch adaptive lights off?
which version of vray are you using? The most current version of 3 helps a lot to minimize it, but it's still visible.
