  • matte/mtlwrapper and lightcache

    Hi all,

i have a prblem with matte/mtl wrapper and lightcache. when i create a scene(whiteroom) where standing an object on a ground plane, then there appears these white blotches at the contact areas. if i render the scene with BF+BF all looks fine. the thing is, i want to render a hughe animation and BF+BF is not so fast as BF+LC.
When i put a vray material on the ground plane, all works fine too.
Had anybody the same problem in the past and a solution to solve that problem?

    white background
    invisible domelight with hdri
    Max2019 + vray 3.60.04

    thanks in advance

Can you try with higher Retrace value for the LC ? Probably 8 will be enough to fix this.

Hi, it is not the retrace option. I have just tried something again and if I set "scale" to world and the sample size is very low, then the bright spots disappear. Nevertheless, many thanks for the feedback.
