  • Trace sets Reflection Exclude list crashing Max 2019

I have a scene where Reflection Exclude list is crashing Max 2019.2 when I start typing in the objects name field. It happens every single time, even if I merge the contents of that scene into a completely new one. I've noticed that this doesn't happen with Max 2018.2. Vray version in both cases is Next 4.02.04.00005.

Please check the attached video I captured.

I've sent an email with the scene and the video to support. The ticket number is 359-826-291.
    Attached Files
    Max 2023.2.2 + Vray 6 Update 2.1 ( 6.20.06 )

This looks like a 3ds Max bug and I don't know if there will be anything that we can do about it. It would be good to report it to Autodesk too. Does it happen in other include/exclude dialogs elsewhere?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

You were right! It does crash in every Exclude list. I just tried it on another PC with 2019.0 installed and it doesn't crash there so looks like Autodesk messed it up in the .2 update. I will report it to Autodesk.
