  • Windows Fall Update (October 2018) could cause crashes when switching to V-Ray GPU or when opening Select Devices for GPU rendering.

If you start experiencing crashes when switching to V-Ray GPU, or when trying to run the Select Devices for GPU rendering tool it's most likely due to bad Intel OpenCL Runtime driver.
Use Display Driver Uninstaller to wipe out Intel Graphics drivers and that should resolve the issue. The tool could be downloaded from here:

Is this problem only for users who are mainly using Intel Graphics?

Is it also applicable to users using nVidia or AMD GPU on Intel Graphics-based machines?

      Any more info on this?
Is it only related to Intel Graphics?

Also, can we trust this provider's "tool" is safe to use?
      Kind Regards,

I've recently started getting blue screens on my otherwise stable W10 machine (no blue screens at all since I first built it) - and wondering if others are getting the same ?? (blue screens when I'm not even in 3DS Max / V-Ray)
