  • Problem with light reflection

    Hello everyone,
    attached is a screenshot from VFB. The green circles indicate light sources (invisible) and the lines just highlight the expected cone shape. As you can see the cone is not "full" but rather just outlines, anyone has an idea of why?

    Lights are Vray lights (discs for the white/yellow and plane for the red). 3ds max 2018 with vray 3.60.03

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    To me this looks like a cutoff issue. Either in the options for the material, or the lights. Try decreasing the cutoffs, possibly even set them to 0.

      Turns out it was the bump that was causing it. It was too strong and created this weird halo effect.
