  • A maximized VFB window gets resized every time I start an IPR render in Max 2018/2019

There's an annoying problem with IPR and Max 2018/2019. When I Maximize the VFB and start an IPR render, the VFB gets resized. This doesn't happen with Max 2016.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open any scene set up to render with Vray or create a very simple one for the purpose of the test, doesn't really matter.
    2. Open the VFB window and maximize it.
    3. Start IPR

      The VFB window gets resized.
Any idea why this happens and if it can be fixed?

    Hi,

I believe that the resizing issue when the VFB is maximized on the screen after a new render is already fixed.
There is an option to prevent the render image field resize:

The fix is currently in the nightlies, but it will be part of the V-Ray Next service pack update.
