  • Viewport IPR - frequent crashes on simple scenes

    I'm having frequent crashes with viewport IPR even on very simple scenes like a teapot on a plane + Vray plane light. This happens when I navigate a bit and then I turn off viewport IPR by clicking on the shading mode of the viewport and then clicking on V-Ray IPR.

    Attached below is the Max scene and a video I recorded. I just sent these files to support along with 2 crash dumps from that scene. It's an update to ticket number 496-083-703.

    happen on vray next update 1? it happen on GPU or CPU?

      Yes, Vray Next Update 1. The viewport IPR feature is not available in older versions of Vray. It's the CPU renderer, not GPU.
