  • Particles cache system analysis & rendering with VrayProxy & Motion blur

    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to render some particles and testing some cache system with 3ds max 2018.
I've found that using VrayProxy is the way to go but I'm missing the motion blur.

To cache the particles I used the "Mesher" from "Compound Objects" then I cache the created mesh.
Caching directly the particles didn't work for me. There was no result.

    I made a recap video :

Do you have a better workflow to stay with Vray or is there some settings I need to check to enable it ?

I just wanted to add that the velocity channels seem to be there since I can see it with the data channel modifier.

After further testing with a simple scene and particle setup. The geometry created with the Mesher Compound Object doesn't render with motion blur.
What is strange is that I can see the velocity values with a Data Channel modifier like in the previous screenshot.

It also looks like exporting the particles using VrayScene concerve all properties. I will try to render my scene with it instead of going with VrayProxy.
