  • Backburner not saving VFB lens effects

    Hi!

We've been rendering animations through the network using Backburner and V-Ray 3.6 for 3ds Max 2016. While some machines render perfectly, it's pretty common to get frames where the lens effects are not applied. What can be causing this?

    Cheers

Are the Backburner servers (slaves) running as a service or are they started manually on the nodes?

Try starting backburner slaves manually, so VFB will appear when rendering. Lens effects are applied via the frame buffer, so if the frame buffer doesn't launch they won't be applied.
