  • VFB changing exposure

    i put up a very basic scene to demonstrate the strange behavior

    a plane, a box, a visible domelight, a VrayPhysicalCamera


    when i dolly in the picture gets darker ... why ???

    3ds max 2019 latest, vray next latest ...

        Hi Peter,

        thanks for clarification.

        That makes some sense for zooming in as explained in your link.

        But when i dolly in (move the camera to the object) that should not be the case ... should it ???

        Makes no sense in my opinion

          This is actually an effect that can be observed with real-world cameras. We don’t have a way to turn it off right now unfortunately.
